Here we are, school has begun and hopefully as we get deeper into August everyone is settling back into their routines stress free.

Taking a break from our usual fun tips, today we want to share with you the benefits of yoga and how we here at Salt on the Rocks have put our own fun twist on it. 

Yoga has a multitude of benefits and uses, and what makes it so great is it isn’t selective. Anyone can do it!

Yoga is a wonderful way to connect body and mind, giving you an opportunity to relax physically and mentally as well as enjoy a fun new experience for those who are new to yoga.

De-stressing can be a huge pill to swallow for some people understandably, but studies show practicing yoga regularly quells the fluctuations of the mind, giving you a peace of mind and helping to relieve anxiety and depression.

Regular Yoga can also help reduce pain caused by arthritis, fibromyalgia, tension, and is a great way to boost your nervous and immune system. Studies even suggest that Yoga practice can reverse high blood pressure, obesity, and high blood sugar and help reduce depression.
