What is Salt Therapy (Halotherapy) and how does it work?
When you visit Salt on the Rocks for a Salt Session (Halotherapy) you will relax for a 45 minutes in our Caribbean Salt Room where you are surrounded by the sights, sounds, and salty air reminiscent of a Caribbean beach. You may also choose one of our private salt rooms where you can enjoy a massage during your salt therapy session.
In our salt therapy rooms we use a fine aerosol of pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride which is inhaled deep into the respiratory system – THIS can provide relief from the many discomforts associated with allergies, asthma, sinus and other respiratory related issues. It also has many benefits for skin related challenges.
Salt is a natural disinfectant, it is antimicrobial, and antibacterial. Salt therapy, or Halotherapy, is calming and detoxifying. This can help support your respiratory, immune, nervous and lymphatic systems. Salt therapy may in turn reduce stress, headaches, increase energy and promote better sleep patterns.

"I am sold!!! After struggling for months with sinus issues I was excited to see this place open. And after only two treatments of being in their salt room there is a tremendous difference already and I am well on my way to a clear head... Great environment with the beach sounds and sticking your feet in the salt, and fabulous staff with knowledge of all their products. If you are trying to escape the drudgery of antibiotics and steroids, I highly highly recommend this alternative!!!! " ~Amy L.
